Rorke’s Drift
Hold a tiny mission station against impossible odds.
22 January 1879. Isandlwana has fallen. At Rorke’s Drift, a handful of the 24th Regiment, volunteers, and the wounded dig in behind mealie bags and biscuit boxes as the Zulu regiments close in.
About
Rorke’s Drift is a turn-based hex wargame of the Anglo-Zulu War’s most famous stand. You play the British defenders; the AI drives the Zulu assault across four phases—from the first rush on the perimeter to the final night onslaught.
Place your garrison, man the walls and hospital, and fight through movement, rifle fire, volleys, and melee. Stretchers, burning buildings, tunnels, and off-map fire from the Oskarberg all press the defense. Survive the waves, keep the redoubt, and deny the Zulus a foothold inside.
