During the Kay’otz Activation Phase, the player normally randomly draws one Kay’otz Activation. If a successful Recon Special Action was conducted during the preceding Marine Action Phase, the player instead randomly draws two cards and picks the one he wishes to enact.
The drawn/enacted Kay’otz Activation Card will describe which alien units are affected by the card and these must conduct the indicated action.
When all the eligible Kay’otz units have completed their actions, the phase is over.
Two of the Kay’otz Activation Cards (The Overlord’s Command and The Terror From Beyond) instruct the player to draw another card upon conducting all the necessary procedures from the first card. In this case, the next card is drawn immediately and acted upon
